1. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Disclosures

With your explicit consent, Chianti Liquor uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to understand how visitors interact with our digital storefront and improve user experience.

What is measured: Aggregate, non-personally-identifiable usage statistics including page views, product details viewed, product catalog searches, category filter selections, Weekly Deals engagement, and outbound clicks (DoorDash delivery links and store phone calls).

Strict PII Protection: We do NOT collect or send any personally identifiable information (PII) to Google Analytics. Email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, authentication tokens, customer names, or payment details are strictly excluded from analytics data.

Data Processing by Google: Google processes analytics data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can learn more about how Google uses data when you use partner sites or apps, or install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

2. Browser Storage & Cookies

We strictly distinguish between essential operational storage and optional analytics storage:

  • Optional Analytics Storage: Google Analytics cookies (`_ga`, `_ga_*`) are set only when you click "Accept Analytics". When analytics consent is declined or revoked, no analytics cookies are created.
  • Essential Storefront Storage: We use browser `sessionStorage` strictly to remember if you dismissed the top notification banner during your current visit, and `localStorage` to cache storefront specials for offline speed.
  • Administrative Session Storage: Firebase Authentication uses browser storage (`IndexedDB`/`localStorage`) exclusively for store managers accessing the private owner dashboard (`/admin.html`).

3. Third-Party Services & Integrations

Our website integrates specific third-party tools to support physical and digital store operations:

  • Firebase Services: Firestore Database is used to read live storefront catalog specials. Firebase Authentication is restricted to private store administrative access.
  • Google Maps Embed: An embedded Google Maps map is displayed on our homepage to help customers locate our store at 3001 US-51, Nesbit, MS. Interacting with the embedded map is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • DoorDash Delivery: Clicking DoorDash ordering links redirects customers off our website to DoorDash's platform. DoorDash processes delivery orders independently under DoorDash's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

4. Protection of Minors (21+ Policy)

Our website and products are intended strictly for adults aged 21 and older in compliance with Mississippi state laws. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 21 years of age.
